After multiple years serving as a volunteer in not-for-profit organizations and offering counsel to various small business leaders in my relational sphere, I launched a company in February 2007 to provide accounting, management, and consulting services to a variety of clients.
- Led transition projects in four organizations, including the build-out of a new entity and wind-down of a former one, upgrade of financial management systems to prepare for full outsourcing, and integration of independent bookkeeping systems into one working system for a multi-department entity.
- Assisted multiple start-up entrepreneurs to build financial management systems around their vision; coordinating receivables, payables, payroll, and reporting; using simple language to present financial concepts to non-financial thinkers.
- Developed a fundraising and payroll structure to facilitate 10 long-term missionaries processing US raised funds for overseas ministry in a multi-national organization.
